What a ceramic coating actually is
Four layers, applied in order, over a single working day.
Cut through the panel, not to scale

Factory paint
Base coat and clear coat as it left the plant. Soft, and easy to mark with a sponge or a car wash brush.
- 02
Corrected surface
Cutting and polishing removes the swirls and webbing first. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so this step is not optional on a marked car.
- 03
Wurtzite P85 bond
Crystal Symmetry technology bonds to the clear coat rather than sitting on top of it. 85% SiO2 solid content per 50ml kit, at 100% purity.
- 04
Crystal glass layer
Hardness above 9H on the Mohs scale, contact angle 110 to 120 degrees, thermal resistance to 750 degrees C, and chemical resistance from pH2 to pH13.

A familiar name, a fresh identity
We used to be known as Deluxcar. Same automotive workshop, same people, same way of doing things. We have updated the name to better match what we actually specialise in.
Ceramicar is a locally owned automotive paint protection business based in Windsor Gardens. We have been in the industry for 28 years, and in that time we have built our name on the quality of the work rather than the number of cars we push through the door.
We do not rush. Every vehicle gets a full day, dropped off in the morning and collected late afternoon. That is how long it takes to do the job properly.

How a booking runs
Most jobs are a full day. Here is what happens between the phone call and the handover.

We confirm within 24 hours
We come back by phone or email to confirm the date and the exact price for your vehicle. Underbody work needs 3 to 5 days notice.
Drop off between 8:30 and 10:00 am
Bring the car to Unit 2, 30 Petrova Ave. We inspect the paint with you and agree the correction stage before anything is touched.
Correction, then coating
Decontamination, cutting and polishing on RUPES equipment, then the Wurtzite coating goes on. This is the part that takes the day.
Collection and aftercare
Collect late afternoon. We show you what changed and how to wash it so the coating lasts. Cash payment takes 10% off.

Professional nano-ceramic paint protection using a product such as Wurtzite P85. It gives better UV protection, water repellency and chemical resistance than a wax or a sealant, and it bonds to the clear coat instead of sitting on it.
